The Board of Directors of 3 banks have announced the date of their Board Meeting to consider and approve their unaudited financial statement for the quarter ended 30th of June 2020.
In seperate letters signed by their respective Company Secretary and published by the NIgerian Stock Exchange (NSE) the Board of Wema Bank, Fidelity Bank and Jaiz Bank also announced the Closed Period for dealing in their shares
Wema Bank board meeting has been scheduled to hold on Thursday, 23rd July 2020 at 10.00 am in Lagos and the Bank has also declared the Closed Period for dealing in its shares from 6th July 2020 to 24 hours after its financials and other information have been made public in line with the
Rulebook of the NSE.
Fidelity Bank announced that the audit of its half year 2020 financial result has commenced and that it will be published latest by 29th of August 2020 after the Central Bank of Nigeria must have approved it. Trading to all insiders of the bank was closed from July 1, 2020 till 24 hour after the result must have been released to the public
Jaiz Bank board meeting will hold on Wednesday 15 July 2020 and the Bank has extended its earlier announced Closed Period to 24 hours after its financials and other information have been made public in line with the
Rulebook of the NSE.
Accordingly, no director, employee, person discharging managerial responsibility and adviser of the three Banks and their connected persons may directly or indirectly, deal in the shares of the Banks in any manner during the Closed Period.
