Zeekr 001 is the electric car that promises 1,000 km of autonomy on a single charge

The Zeekr 001 was unveiled a year ago. But now the coupé of the Zeekr brand, brand of the Chinese galaxy Geely and which produces only electric vehicles with Lynk&Cot echnology, returns with a model year 2023 and an important novelty.

Record autonomy

The Zeekr 001 has in fact been updated with a limited production variant capable of traveling about 1,000 km on a single charge. But the new Zeekr 001 also retains the electric powertrain of the previous version that produces 268 hp with a single electric motor or 536 hp with two electric motors. In this second case, the most powerful version can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. Lithium batteries with capacities of 86 kWh and 100 kWh are available on this version, for a range of 546 km and 656 km respectively.

The record-breaking electric will be limited edition

The single-engine rear-wheel drive version delivers 200 kW and 343 Nm. In this case, the battery installed is the production Qilin , in two cuts of 100 kWh and 140 kWh, for a cruising range of 741 km and 1,032 km respectively. According to Zeekr it is the largest autonomy in the world. The 1032 km model will be produced in a limited edition of only 1,000 pieces, a minuscule number by Chinese standards.

Minimalist interior

The interior of the Zeekr 001 MY2023 is minimalist, with an 8.8-inch instrument cluster and a 14.7-inch center screen. The seats are made of Nappa leather with the front ones equipped with heating, ventilation and massage functions. The rear passenger has access to a 5.7-inch multifunction touchscreen

Pricing and Availability

The Zeekr 001 is offered at a price between 300,000 and 386,000 RMB, or about 41,000 and 52,000 euros. Deliveries are expected to begin in the second quarter of 2023. All models support fast charging.
