Strange night-time routine
Seldom would a couple sleep in separate beds or rooms for fun or to strengthen their relationship; it would be odd.
It is not the case for a woman who has been married for a decade and is proud to be a mother of two.
Edwina Bartholomew has disclosed his strange night-time routine with her handsome husband Neil Varcoe.
Reason for separate rooms
The Sunrise star revealed she has not shared a bed with her hubby of five years for the past seven years.
“One set up for my husband with his gym gear and other ‘manly’ stuff. My room is always messy. His is always neat. He is a bed-maker. I am not. He puts his clothes away. I like to file mine away on a chair if I need them again.
It’s been this way for about seven years. I’m a fantastic sleeper and he tosses and turns. When I would get up for work, he would struggle to get back to sleep, so we decided to trial separate rooms,” the 39-year-old said as noted by Daily Mail.
She said many people are shocked when they visit their house and find separate rooms.
Adults-only suburbs
Despite the sleeping arrangement, Edwina said it has not stopped them from being cosy with each other as they have two kids together.
The television presenter noted the changes were their “secret to our happy marriage” which baffled many.
Despite Edwina being a relatively new mum in her 10-year relationship, she recently backed calls for ‘adults-only’ suburbs with no children.
“I think it’s a brilliant idea. I love my kids. I love their company, but I don’t love the sound of someone else’s screaming child,” she stated.
Couple move in without furniture
Elsewhere, after building their house, a couple moved in with no single piece of furniture.
They were celebrated on social media for finally moving into their own house following its completion, despite sleeping on the floor together.
Internet users hailed the couple, saying building their own house was a significant achievement irrespective of the current situation they were in.
