Medical doctor cries out after police allegedly extorted N59k from him and his colleagues for parking on the road

 

A medical doctor, Ohis Ojeabuo, has taken to X to speak after police officers in Lagos state allegedly extorted N59,000 from him and his colleagues for parking on the road.

 

In his post shared, Ohis said he and his colleagues were heading to work when they noticed a mechanical fault and decided to park immediately to check the problem. He said the officers spotted them and allegedly asked that they pay the sum of N250,000 for parking on the road. He said after challenging them and making them drive around, they were forced to part with N59,000.
