Akpagher Joseph Terzungwe, one of the two hotel staff abducted from Sagwari Estate in Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) was among the victims killed by kidnappers.
LIB had reported how gunmen invaded the estate on January 7, 2024, and abducted Mrs. Ariyo, her four children and five others including Talatu Salihu, a 500-level student of Library and Information Science, Bayero University Kano (BUK), her two nieces and two staff members of a hotel.
The kidnappers demanded N60m and N50m ransom from the families of the victims.
Following their inability to pay the huge ransom, the kidnappers killed 13-year-old Michelle Ariyo, Talatu and Akpagher Joseph.
Their corpses and that of Nabeehah were dumped at Ida, near Ushafa in Bwari Area Council.
The seven remaining victims, a female hotel receptionist, Mrs Ariyo, and her three children, as well as Talatu’s two little nieces, have regained their freedom.
One Ushahemba Isaac, who shared late Akpagher’s photos said the kidnapper demanded N50m ransom from his family.
