Detectives from the Ondo State Police Command have interrogated five persons over the killing of Ifeoluwa Adekunle, a student of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko.
LIB reported that the 300-level Economics student was found dead in a pool of blood in her off-campus hostel last weekend.
She was suspected to have been stabbed to death by unknown assailants who visited her room.
The spokesperson of the command, Funmi Odunlami, who gave an update on the incident on Monday, said those invited for questioning were the neighbours of the victim.
“The five persons questioned are the neighbours of the deceased staying in the compound,” the PPRO said.
“But our men are still investigating the case and I know the culprits behind the killing would be unmasked and also brought to book soon,” she added.
