Tragedy for ‘American Idol’
‘American Idol,’ one of the most popular talent shows in the US and the world, has been struck with tragedy. Willie Spence, a finalist of the 2021 American edition, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 23.

Did he have a flat tire?
Family sources told TMZ that the day before the accident Spence had a flat tire. Presumably, it had been repaired, but it might have been the cause of his remarkable collision with a parked car.
Deadly crash
On October 13, TMZ added that the vehicle Spence crashed into was allegedly a tractor trailer. The crash cost the young musical star his life. The driver of the parked vehicle remained unharmed.
He famously performed ‘Diamonds’
The singer conquered the hearts of ‘American Idol’ talent judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan with his interpretation of Rihanna’s hit ‘Diamonds’.
