DSS confirms arrests of tailors suspected to be mass-producing Russian flags for protest in Kano

The Department of State Services (DSS) has announced the arrest of several tailors in Kano State suspected of mass-producing Russian flags.

 

The DSS also revealed that one of the key leaders of #EndBadGovernance protests in the Federal Capital Territory is not in its custody, after it was reported that Lenin was arrested around 2am on Monday morning.

 

According to a statement released on Monday, the security agency also apprehended some of the sponsors involved in the operation.

 

“The DSS can confirm that Adaramoye Michael (aka Michael Lenin) is not in its custody,” the agency clarified via its official X (formerly Twitter) handle.

 

“Meanwhile, the Service has apprehended some tailors in Kano State responsible for making Russian flags being distributed in the area. Some of their sponsors have also been picked. An investigation is ongoing,” the statement added.
