Overview
Acancer that begins in the lining of the uterus (endometrium). This causes vaginal bleeding after the menopause or frequent bleeding between the menstrual cycles.
Symptoms
Post-menopausal vaginal bleeding, pelvic pain and bleeding between periods are the commonly observed symptoms.

Causes
Exact cause is not known. But it is noticed that genetic mutations in the endometrial cells may lead to production of abnormal cells.
