Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, the old adage goes, and none embodied it better than Zuhura Abdalla Sokomoni from Ilala in Tanzania.
In an interview with Global TV, the scorned woman disclosed that she was heartbroken when she discovered her husband was cheating.
Noticed changes in husband
According to her, there were noticeable changes in the man she loved, which made her to launch investigations into the matter.

Not long after, her suspicions were confirmed when she found her husband red handed with another woman.
Zuhura recalled how, on the fateful day, she found her husband having intimate moments with his paramour in the car.
“Niligonga akafungua kioo cha gari. Aliponiona akapandisha kioo na kulitoa gari mbio” (I knocked and he rolled down the car window. When he noticed it was me he sped off), she remembered.
Zuhura followed husband’s vehicle
As the man drove away, Zuhura got onto a motorbike and followed in hot pursuit, after which he found a dark spot and parked.
She says the man switched off the car, got out, and approached her in a bid to contain the situation, but then he turned violent.
“Kilichoniuma zaidi ni kwamba nilimfumania kisha akanipiga mbele ya huyo mwanamke” What annoyed me the most was that he decided to hit me while his paramour was watching), she said.
Zuhura says she was not looking for trouble, her wish was to know who her co-wife was because it would give her peace going forward.
Marriage crumbled
It is at that point that the heartbroken wife decided to repay her wayward husband in the exact same manner; by cheating.
According to Zuhura, it took a lot of perseverance for her to get to that point as her husband had lied countless times about his whereabouts.
“Aliponiuliza nikamwambia kwa nini unapanick. Huu mchezo hauhitaji hasira” (When he questioned where I was from I asked why he was panicking because this game of cheating needs no hard feelings), she continued,
Zuhura revealed that since time immemorial, she has always believed in revenge whenever someone wrongs her.
Woman’s fake wedding revenge
In an almost similar story, one woman lived out many other ladies’ wishes when she faked a wedding to get back at her ex.
TikTok user @moximoments shared a video showing a woman reminiscing on her over-the-top revenge plot.
The vengeful woman did a whole photoshoot with a steaming man, a move that she says made her feel fulfilled.
