I highly believe you had something hard in your gloves’ – Deontay Wilder accuses Tyson Fury of cheating in both of their bouts with ‘egg-weight’ in his glove

Deontay Wilder has accused Tyson Fury of cheating in their two fights, claiming the Gypsy King had something hard in his gloves.

The pair were set to fight for the third time on December 19 after Fury won the American’s WBC heavyweight belt with a stunning TKO victory in February after their first fight ended in a draw last year. But the trilogy fight was later cancelled after Wilder’s rematch clause expired.

Speaking in a new video, the Bronze Bomber accused Fury of putting ‘something the size and shape of an egg-weight’ in his gloves, which left a dent in his head after their previous fight.

He also accused Ricky Hatton, in Fury’s corner for their first clash, of moving the Gypsy King’s gloves mid-fight to reduce the padding around his fists.

‘I saw in the first fight when Ricky Hatton was pulling down your gloves to put your fist in the improper position,’ Wilder said.

‘You tried the same method the second time but this time you scratched flesh out of my ears which caused them to bleed.’

‘It’s impossible for a brand new 10oz glove to bend, to keep a smushed-in form or to have loose space. I highly believe you had something hard in your glove, something the size and the shape of an egg-weight. It’s the reason why the side of my face swelled up in an egg-weight form. And it left a dent in my face as well.’

‘But in the midst of it all, you still couldn’t keep this king down. You would have had to kill me. In the end it took a c***-in-a-bucket referee and a disloyal trainer (Mark Breland) to throw the towel in just to stop me.’

Wilder then warned Fury’s payback is coming’, despite the rematch clause expiring.

‘It is time for you to be a man and honour your word, instead of trying to weasel out of our agreement. Scared people run but a scary man will break his contract. You coward a** b****.’

He added: ‘What is this bulls*** of you fighting Carlos Takam instead of me, you got to be kidding. When you were going through your darkest time, I told you that if you got yourself together I would give you a title shot. Being a man of my word, I gave you the title shot.

‘When that fight was a draw, I told you that I would give you a rematch.

‘You know I was offered more money to fight (Anthony) Joshua than I was getting to fight you. Again being a man of my word, I fought you like I said I would. In the rematch agreement, there was a rematch clause.’

It’s not the first Wilder has made such allegations with Fury’s team always denying any wrongdoing.

‘This is just a quick video to address all this “foul play” talk from Deontay Wilder and his team,’ Fury said in June in response to previous cheating allegations.

‘I’ve just read an article saying I might have had some “blunt objects” in my gloves. Yeah, two big 19-stone destroyers in each glove. Getting punched in the temple may do that do you.

‘Unless Deontay Wilder’s own trainer Jay Deas was in on the conspiracy as well along with all the Las Vegas Commission guys who never left the room.

‘Jay Deas was in the room while I had my hands wrapped, he examined them. He was in there when I had my gloves put on, examined them, and everybody else was in the room, they don’t leave you.

‘So everybody citing foul play – bulls***. And the next time I’ll put a dent in his boxing career, end it. It’ll be two knockout losses in a row, bye bye forever.’
