Actor Femi Branch has expressed frustration over the reported growing trend of cinemas promoting one movie above others.
In a video shared on social media, Branch alleged that some cinema staff lobby patrons into watching certain movies, assuring them that it’s better than their intended choice.
Branch emphasised that cinemas should not dictate what people watch, and he warned those engaging in this practice to stop.
‘’It is not your business to tell people what film to watch’’” he said
He argued that this behaviour creates division within the industry and appealed for an even playing field for producers.
