The Air Jordan 13 came out in 1997 and the shoe was popularized again with several appearances in the ESPN documentary last April that saw Michael Jordan sporting the signature sneakers. The “Flint” iteration of the Air Jordan 13 came out in 1998, and according to StockX, the retro release of the Air Jordan 13 “Flint” last May sold 40,000 pairs by July. Lyst revealed the shoe to be the most impactful shoe on fashion in 2020 in a ranking of the top 10 sneakers of the year.
The “Red Flint” variation offers a slight change, with the bold gym red hue the dominant color while meshing with the Flint Gray. The shoe’s most notable features, the Jumpman logo on the tongue and the holographic eye near the collar, are still there.
Jordan Brand will start selling the shoe May 1 at 10 a.m. ET for a retail price of $190.
