Kate, 40, opted to wear a bespoke Jenny Packham ‘Blue Lace Peplum Dress’ that featured a figure-flattering ruffle detailing along the waistline. The Duchess appeared to favour blue for her outfit as she also carried a matching blue clutch, ‘Rebecca’ Fern Blue suede heels from Emmy London and dazzling sapphire accessories.
The Duchess styled her glossy brunette tresses in a sleek half-up, half-down hairstyle as she accompanied her husband out of the plane. It is understood that her choice to wear to colour blue is in honour of the country and the all-blue flag of Belize.
The Duke looked equally dapper as he wore a pastel blue-grey suit finished off with a black tie.
The royal couple looked amazing as they stepped off the plane
The Duchess’ open collar dress elegantly displayed her diamond and sapphire necklace, which the royal significantly wore for the first time back in 2020 to meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
It’s not confirmed whether the Duchess deliberately chose to rewear her necklace in a mark of solidarity with Ukraine, though it’s not unlike Kate to style jewellery that contains a hidden meaning or subtle nod of appreciation.
Could Kate’s stylish lace dress mark the return of the peplum? This figure-flattering style is perfect for any occasion, and we’re sure royal fans will love these contemporary takes on Duchess-inspired lookalikes.
