Prince Harry is back home in California following his trip to the United Kingdom for Princess Diana’s statue unveiling, but it looks like both he and Meghan Markle could be returning to England in September.
According to The Sun, Kensington Palace has plans for a larger event to honor Princess Diana, which will be able to accommodate more people. Apparently, Harry is expected to attend the event, and it’s hoped that Meghan will come with—although it might still be too soon after baby Lilibet’s birth.
“There were no peace talks and distance remains there,” a source tells the outlet. “It is a step forward but this was not the time or the place. September is a date penciled in for a more extensive celebration of the statue, and Harry will want to return.”
This news comes as sources tell Us Weekly that William and Harry are in a better place right now—as are Meghan and Kate.
“William and Harry spent the morning before the statue unveiling looking through old keepsakes, notes from Diana and bonding,” a source says. “They have absolutely turned a new page in their relationship and have started the healing. Everyone around them was thrilled to see how close they were on the day of the statue unveiling.”
Meanwhile, “tensions have eased between Meghan and Kate” and “Kate even sent Meghan a gift for the baby. They’re in a better place and have exchanged texts since the birth of Lilibet.”
