Nigerian singer, Zinoleesky has made a significant career move by creating his own entertainment outift amid the furore over Mohbad’s death and the alleged involvement of Naira Marley’s record label in his demise.
Zinoleesky, whose upcoming US tour was canceled by the promoter, has transitioned from Marlian Music to his new label, Zinonymous Sounds, days after Mohbad’s death.
27-year-old Mohbad (Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba), a former artiste under Marlian Music, died on Tuesday, September 12, under controversial circumstances.
Music fans have accused Marley of bullying Mohbad to death.
Fans have also accused Zinoleesky of not speaking out while Mohbad was being bullied by Marley and his aide, Sam Larry.
Before Mohbad’s death, Zinoleesky’s Instagram bio didn’t have the name of any record label on it unlike now that Zinonymous Sounds is clearly written on the bio.
But after Nigerians started ditching Naira Marley and his record label, following numerous allegations of bullying, beating and assaults against Mohbad, Zinolessly’s decision to create Zinonymous Sounds, might have been influenced by the recent happenings.
The police have since set up an investigative panel to probe the details surrounding Mohbad’s death.
