Non-Surgical Butt Lift vs Brazilian Butt Lift
When it comes to butt lifts and building a perfectly perky derriere, you have plenty of options. Whether you are excited about a simple surgery that will give you years or even decades of results, or you’re looking forward to a more simple and subtle noninvasive procedure, Flawless Skin by Abby can help you get there with minimal discomfort, minimal recovery time and maximum results.
Before we look at the many options and the primary differences between a non-surgical butt lift and a Brazilian butt lift, let’s bullet point the benefits of even getting a butt lift to begin with. The benefits of a butt lift, whether a BBL or a non-surgical butt lift, include:
- Greatly enhanced curves
- Reduced fat in other parts of the body when liposuction is used as part of the procedure
- You will look more youthful, aesthetic and attractive
- Better balance of physical proportions
- A perfect solution to flat, sagging or uneven butt and disproportionate cheek sizes
While there are many more rewards and advantages of the procedure, those 5 are among the most popular. Reaching beauty in the back end means doing either a non-surgical buttlift (of which there are many options), or a Brazilian butt lift, so let’s now objectively compare the two of them for both their highlights and their potential shortcomings.
Brazilian Butt Lift
A Brazilian Butt Lift, also referred to as a “BBL,” is a fat transfer procedure for augmenting, increasing and improving the size of the butt without silicone implants. Instead, fat is taken from the hips and/or thighs and a portion of it is then processed for purity and smartly injected into the butt. This gives all of the right spots in the butt greater volume, form and perkiness. For a Brazilian buttlift to take full form, it may require from 90 to 180 days (3 to 6 months) for the full results to set in and be fully visible. However, a great advantage to this method is that these results can then last for several years and even for decades.
Like any surgery, there is some pain and recovery time involved with a BBL, though most patients find it easily managed with pain medication and a few short weeks of recovery, not all of which time needs to be spent at home; you can be out working and socializing while the full results of a BBL are coming in, though you will be limited in some actions during this time. The recovery process is quite important to the long-term results, which is why you will be given a full rundown of simple instructions on exactly what to do and what to avoid doing.
Above, we have outlined in simplicity the process and potentials of a BBL, but for more information on Brazilian Butt Lifts, please see the page on our website detailing it in full.
Non-Surgical Butt Lift
As the name suggests, a non-surgical butt lift is a butt lift done without surgery. Instead of liposuction and fat transfer which are both semi-invasive surgical procedures, a non-surgical buttlift instead uses injectable dermal fillers to round out the buttocks in essentially the same manner that a BBL would do.
When it comes to non-surgical buttlifts, we have a host of options that make it possible for anyone to safely and easily achieve the but of their dreams — and, yes, perhaps that sounds dramatic, but patients tell us that all the time after their butt lift. Please see our gallery for examples.
SCULPSURE: Your first option is SculpSure, which is a proprietary device used for noninvasive body contouring. This is a popular butt lift option and it works by removing volume from those areas we don’t want it to be, which in turn maximizes volume in all the places we do want it. This method of butt lift is done over a series of 25-minute treatments and results will be seen in 6 weeks, with the height of results seen in 12 weeks.
RADIESSE: Radiesse is another great option that utilizes a dermal filler by the same name, with treatments spaced out every 4 weeks and results are seen after the first 2 treatments. These results can last up to 5 years. The benefits of this procedure is that the sculpting is rapid and effective, and it reduces cellulite while increasing volume. It will not, however, reduce fatty deposits in other areas (as the SculpSure method would do).
VACUUM THERAPY: This is our final option and it involves a safe suctioning of the skin and fat on the butt. This isn’t merely suctioning, but is suctioning (which increases blood flow to the area) combined with ultrasound waves that break down fatty deposits and stimulate collagen and elastin production. The outcome is a firmer, rounder butt with less cellulite and a more flattering shape.
