The police in Lagos state have arrested three men for allegedly attempting to kidnap a car dealer in the Ebute-Igbogbo area of Lagos state on Tuesday, August 20.
A video of the suspects with their bloodied faces made the rounds on social media earlier today. A mob beat them up shortly after they were apprehended.
Reacting to the trending video, the spokesperson of the state police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, said the men were apprehended and are now in police custody. He added that efforts are being made to apprehend two other accomplices.
