Akeredolu?s daughter orders journalists to leave father

Two former aides of the former Governor of Ondo state, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, have also resigned from their positions following his demise.

Those who resigned on Thursday, December 28, include; the Special Assistant on Photography to the former governor, Olawale Abolade, and the Senior Special Assistant to Akeredolu on Special Duties and Strategy, Doyin Odebowale.

This is coming after the state commissioner for Infrastructure, Lands and Housing, Raimi Olayiwola Aminu, resigned from his appointment.

The daughter of the late Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, ordered journalists who visited the Ibadan private residence of the late politician to leave.

The journalists converged at the deceased’s residence to cover the condolence visit of the chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and his Oyo State counterpart, Seyi Makinde.

However, one of the daughters of the deceased, named Ololade Akeredolu, ordered all the journalists to leave the residence, on the grounds that it was a private residence and not a Government House, Vanguard reports.

The two governors – Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and  Governor Seyi Makinde – who visited the bereaved family, pacified the journalists by walking out to the street where the journalists were waiting to address them.
