A young woman identified as Onyinoi Ni’mat Suleiman, was reportedly kidnapped and k!lled by unknown assailants in Abuja.
The deceased, fondly known as Nimmy Sauce, was a former producer and presenter at Prestige FM in Minna, Niger State.
Details of the incident are still sketchy at the time of filing this report however it was gathered that she was abducted and stabbed to death on her way home from work on Thursday, October 17, 2024.
Her former colleague, Ahmed Sakpe Isah, confirmed the sad incident in a Facebook post on Friday.
“INNA LILLAHI WA INNA ILAIHIR RAJI’UN It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the death of our pioneer Presenter, Prestige FM, Ni’mat Suleiman (MIMI SAUCE). She was kidnapped and stabbed to d@ath on her way back from work in Abuja. Allah ya gafartamki Allah ya miki rahma. Oh Allah grant us the patience to be able to bear this loss. May Allah forgive you,” he wrote.
Her friend, Zahra Abubakar, also confirmed the incident.
“It’s with heavy heart I announce the death of my life time friend who turned sister Ni’imatullah Suleiman. She was kidnapped and stabbed to d@ath on her way back from work in Abuja yesterday. Allah ya gafartamaki Allah ya miki rahma. Oh Allah grant us the patience to be able to bear this loss. Subhanallah. Ya Rabb this is indeed heavy,” she wrote.
One Austin Abraham wrote: “I am so sorry Nimat that you had to go in the manner that you did. No amount of sun can dry this tears flowing through. This pool of tears I am in is drowning me. And I can’t swim in it. This is the most painful way to go my friendship. The thought of how you begged and cried for your life in the hand of your kidnapers. I could only imagine.. how your innocent blood just littered the ground. God have mercy. Nimat!!!!”
