Zelensky ready to resign
Ukrainian President, Volodimir Zelensky, said on Sunday that he was ready to leave power if it would lead to peace in Ukraine or NATO membership.
“I have no intention of clinging to power for decades,” Zelensky told a press conference.
“I’m ready to resign if it means peace in Ukraine, and I could also trade my position for NATO membership,” he added at the ‘Ukraine: 2025’ forum.
Mr. Zelensky’s remarks, reported by Ukrainian TV channel 24tv, come less than 24 hours before the third anniversary of Russia’s invasion of the country
